Chelsea Watts is a New York based actress, and though she was born in Montana, she was made in New York.
From a young age, Chelsea loved to play dress up and produce shows to entertain the family where she and her cousins would showcase their talents. Throughout her formative years, singing was Chelsea's primary creative outlet and she was often selected as a soloist in her school choir, performed lead roles in the school plays, and won several awards for singing, including the National Junior Miss Talent Award for her performance of ‘O mio babbino caro.’ This experience, along with other successful forays into operatic music influenced Chelsea to pursue opera as a career. In performances, she was praised not only for her beautiful voice, but for her presence on stage, her skill as an actress and her embodiment of the roles she played.
Today Chelsea approaches acting with the same passion for fun, play and discovery that she’s had since those early days in her grandparents kitchen. This passionate devotion radiates in the characters she brings to life, such as CIA operative Laine Heffron on NBC's The Enemy Within. In her day to day life, she relishes collaborating with and empowering fellow artists, from fashion designers to photographers, filmmakers and musicians, to leading storytelling workshops for students, she’s committed to creating and sharing great art. Likewise she has had the great pleasure of working with such established artists as Morris Chestnut, Ann Dowd, Andrew Stewart-Jones and Anthony Laciura. Keep an eye out for this rising star.
